War, war! Incense at the icon cases…

War, war! Incense at the icon cases,
jangling of spurs.
But what to me are emperors’ calculations,
nations in strife?

I’m a small dancer on a rope which they
tell me is frayed.
Shadow of someone’s shadow. Lunatic
of two dark moons.
