Featured Poem

If my voice should die on land...

If my voice should die on land
carry it to the sea’s level, friend,
and abandon it there,
on the shore.

Carry my voice to the level shore
and make it master there
of a white ship of war –

oh voice of mine,
with its fluttering ensign –

on the heart an anchor,
on the anchor a star
on the star a wind
on the wind a sail !
