Poet

Yousif Qasmiyeh is a Palestinian poet and translator currently based in Oxford.

His poems and translations have appeared in Arabic in An-Nahar’s cultural pages and in Al-Ghawoon literary magazine, and in English in See How I Land (Heaventree Press, 2009) and in Modern Poetry in Translation (2009).

He is currently working on his first poetry collection and a novel pertaining to place, movement and rooms, in addition to translating and compiling an anthology of Jamie McKendrick’s, Bernard O’Donoghue’s and Tom Paulin’s poems.
