Poet, Translator

VASILY KAMENSKY (1884–1961) was the first European poet-pilot. After falling out of the sky during a stunt show, he partnered with Mayakovsky and Burliuk on their winter 1913-14 tour of provincial cities. He later became a Soviet writer but survived.
