Rema Hammami


Rema Hammami is an Anthropologist.  Born in Saudi Arabia, she lives in East Jerusalem and teaches at the Women's Studies Institute at Birzeit University.  Her recent writing has focused on the Palestinian everyday experience of Israeli military checkpoints. She and John Berger have collaborated on a number of projects in and about Palestine
