Olivia McCannon

Translator, Poet, Reviewer

Olivia McCannon is a writer and literary translator based in Paris and London. A selection of her poems appears in the latest Oxford Poets Anthology (Carcanet, 2007); others have appeared in Penguin's Poems for Life and Poems for Love, the Liberal, the Oxford Magazine, the Wolf, and on Radio 3. She has translated French poetry, French, Lebanese and Cuban plays, and is currently finishing a new version of Balzac's Old Goriot for Penguin Classics.  She has recently retired as a Board member of MPT.
