Moon Thu Eain

Moon Thu Eain (b.1995) was just a teenager when she wrote ‘Shoulder to Shoulder’ three years ago and she represents a third wave of feminism. She expresses herself freely and boldly on the subject of love and relationships without hesitating to use sexual terms, which are culturally frowned upon. As a member of the frustrated, younger generation, who have lived with the complexities and conflicted values of a rigid regime, she almost seems to explode with a fierce and uncompromised sense of desire.
