Mike Lyons

Translator

Mike Lyons served in Army Intelligence in post-war Austria, then studied German at Edinburgh University. As a teacher, he became a Head of Modern Languages, subsequently teaching at Oxford Brookes University and Ruskin College. Felix Mitterer's verse monologue Siberien had its UK premiere in a translation by him and Patrick Drysdale.
