Lucy Hamilton is a co-editor of Long Poem Magazine. Ten poems from her pamphlet Sonnets for my Mother (Hearing Eye, 2009) have been translated into Arabic. Sonnets for my Mother was reviewed in MPT 3:13. In December 2010 she became the first woman and first non-Muslim European in the world to appear, by live satellite, reading her poems at the Havana CafĂ©, Mecca. She recently co-judged the inaugural Cambridge University Benjamin Zephaniah Poetry Competition.

Lucy has appeared in many magazines including Shearsman, Magma, The Rialto, Modern Poetry in Translation, Agenda and Poetry Wales; also in anthologies including I am twenty people! (Enitharmon), In the Company of Poets (Hearing Eye) and This Line Is Not For Turning: An Anthology of Contemporary British Prose Poetry (Cinnamon, 2012). Stalker (Shearsman, 2012) is her first full collection of prose poems. She lives in Cambridge where she is a freelance tutor.
