Lee Man-Kay

Translator

Lee Man-Kay was born in Hong Kong and graduated from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2007 with a bachelor degree in Translation and Chinese. Her interest in Chinese and English literature led her to literary translation, and in 2008, to a collaboration with Brian Holton, Yang Lian and W.N. Herbert in the translation of over a hundred Chinese contemporary poems for the forthcoming anthology Jade Ladder (Bloodaxe Books, 2012). Kay is based in Hong Kong, where she is now developing a career in PR alongside her passion for literary translation.
