Líber Falco

LÍBER FALCO was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, in 1906. He lived all his life in relative poverty. One of Uruguay’s best-loved poets, Falco was also the centre of a circle of friends, many of whom appear as addressees of his poems, and who financed and saw through the press a posthumous edition of his work. He died in 1955.
