Jennie Feldman

Translator, Poet

Jennie Feldman studied French at Oxford University. Her first collection of poems, The Lost Notebook (2005), was shortlisted for the Glen Dimplex Poetry Award (Dublin, 2006). Her new collection is Swift (2012). She has translated Jacques Réda's poetry, Treading Lightly: Selected Poems 1961-1975 (2005) and his autobiographical work, The Mirabelle Pickers (Aller aux mirabelles), which is published in 2012. A Hawthornden Fellow, she is co-editor and translator, with Stephen Romer, of Into the Deep Street: Seven Modern French Poets, 1938-2008 (2009), shortlisted for the Popescu Translation Prize. All five books are published by Anvil Press. A former award-winning radio producer and presenter, she lives in Jerusalem and Oxford.
