Inna Kabysh

Inna Kabysh was born in Moscow in 1963, and still lives there. Her early poetry is particularly informed by her experience as a schoolteacher; in later poems she sometimes speaks as the mother of a son. Her focus constantly reaches out from the personal to the national.
