Guto Leite is a Brazilian poet, author of the books “zero um” (2010), “Poemas Lançados Fora” (7Letras, 2007), “Sintaxe da Última Hora” (Scortecci, 2006) and “Reflexos” (FEME, 2000). He has also won several literary competitions and has been published in various poetry anthologies. Guto was on the shortlist for the Premio Açoriano in the category of “Poetry”. He co-wrote the scripts for “Estado Senil” (2009), “Revés” (2008), and “Bons sonhos, Maria” (2006). He is the scriptwriter for the character Júlio César, published in September 2010 in the magazine “Eixada” and in July 2011 in the collection “O melhor da festa, volume 3”. He is a linguist (Unicamp), specialist, master and doctorate in Brazilian Literature (UFRGS). He is currently working as a temporary professor in Brazilian Literature in UFRGS.
