Desirée Jung


Desirée Jung was born and raised in Brazil and now is also a citizen of Canada. She began her career as a journalist but fell in love with translation when she moved to Vancouver, BC, and began translating the Canadian poet P. K. Page into Brazilian Portuguese. She is currently working on the translation from the Portuguese into English of selected works by the Angolan writer Gonçalo M. Tavares.
