Derick Mattern

Translator

Derick Mattern is an MFA candidate in poetry at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where he is the prose editor for Devil’s Lake. Winner of the BCLT'S 2012 Young Translators’ Prize, his work has appeared in Crab Orchard Review, Kyoto Review, and  Guernica. He lived and worked in Istanbul from 2008 to 2013.
