Chris Gribble is Chief Executive of Writers’ Centre Norwich and Norwich UNESCO City of Literature. He led Norwich’s bid to become England’s first UNESCO City of Literature and is the Chair of the International Cities of Refuge Network (www.icorn.org). After completing a PhD in German Poetry and Philosophy at the University of Manchester, Chris worked in publishing for Carcanet Press and PN Review and was the Director of Manchester Poetry Festival and then Manchester Literature Festival. Writers' Centre Norwich is transforming a 15th Century Merchant Hall in Norwich into a National Centre for Writing due to open in June 2018.
