Alireza Abib

Poet

Alireza Abib is an Iranian poet, literary critic and translator. His collections include Stop, we should get off (1998), Spaghetti with Mexican Sauce (2004), and I hear a tree from my desk (2013). Abib is also an award-winning translator and has translated Yeats, Hughes, Heaney, Bunting, Walcott and Ginsberg into Persian. He is currently undertaking a Ph.D. in Creative Writing at Newcastle University.
