Tranströmer translation wins MPT's First Poetry Translation Competition

We are delighted to announce the winners of our first MPT Poetry Translation competition.  In first place Ingar Palmlund's musical translation of Tomas Tranströmer's 'Allegro'.  She describes it as 'a poem to live by'.  In second place Julia Sanches brings us Guto Leite's 'Mercado' from Portuguese.  The runners-up are Brian Holton, Clare Pollard and Allen Prowle.  Marie Naughton also received a commendation.
