Sasha Dugdale, the editor of Modern Poetry in Translation, is to step down from the magazine in 2017. We are currently recruiting for a new editor to join us towards the end of the year. Read more about how to apply.

Sasha Dugdale said:

After five intense, illuminating and joyful years I am retiring from MPT to pursue my own writing and translation. MPT goes from strength to strength: we have an excellent and supportive team and a growing number of friends, readers and contributors. It has been a wonderful time: the magazine is a community and a life force and I’ll miss it terribly. But now is the time for me to move on, and allow someone else the opportunity to nurture and shape the magazine.
