Events in November

Sasha Dugdale, Michael Rosen, Choman Hardi and David Constantine

Friday 13th November at The Queen's College, Oxford

The Queen’s College, Oxford hosts an MPT reading with Kurdish poet Choman Hardi. The reading will take place at 4pm in the Shulman Auditorium. Choman Hardi will be reading from her new book, Considering the Women (Bloodaxe, 2015), which has just been published. Poems from this collection were published in MPT’s spring issue 'Scorched Glass'. Sasha Dugdale, editor of MPT will host a discussion with Choman after the reading.

Monday 16th November - Ted Hughes and Modern Poetry in Translation

On Monday 16 November we are holding an evening’s celebration of Ted Hughes’s involvement with MPT. Speakers include former co-editor David Constantine and current editor Sasha Dugdale. This event is produced in partnership with Poet in the City.
